Neighbors, Gifts & Help
CastleVille was built around neighbors. On L.O.S Castle, every player is your neighbor automatically, so there are no requests to send or accept. Everyone you see on the bar at the bottom of the screen can be visited.
Visiting and helping
Click a neighbor on the bar to visit their kingdom. While you're there you can help them out: chop their trees, mine their rocks, tend their buildings, and hit their Beasties.
- You can leave 5 helpful actions in each neighbor's kingdom per day.
- Helping earns you reputation (up to a maximum of 100) and sometimes energy.
- Your help waits for them in their kingdom: next time they play, your picture appears with a badge, and they collect the help you left.
Built-in neighbors
Every kingdom also has neighbors who come with the game:
- The Duke, your first neighbor. The tutorial sends you to visit his kingdom.
- The Fairy Realm, reached through World Travel.
Free gifts 🎁
The Free Gifts tab above the game lets you send free gifts to your neighbors. Gifts arrive in their kingdom within a minute or so, and they collect them in the game.
Requests
Many quests and crafts need items only friends can give: materials, crew members, tools. Use the game's Ask buttons to send a request; your neighbors receive it in their kingdom and can send the item back. Gifts with a thank-you send one back to you automatically.
Shares on Discord 📣
When the game offers to share a reward (like Post for Shards), the post appears in #kingdom-shares on the L.O.S Castle Discord with a Claim button.
- The first 10 neighbors to claim it get the reward, and the person who shared it is rewarded too.
- A post expires after 3 days.
- You can't claim your own post, and each post can be claimed once per player.
- To claim, your Discord account needs to be linked to your L.O.S account: sign in with Discord on the website once.
Profile pictures
Your neighbors see your L.O.S profile picture on the neighbor bar. Change it from your profile on this site.
